A loan of $1,575 helped a member to buy inventory for resale.

Santa Catalina Group's story

The Santa Catalina Women’s Committee was formed because one of its members heard about the program for women entrepreneurs. After that the women got together and formed this group. They’re currently in their third cycle in the program.

They define themselves as ingenious, creative, hardworking, entrepreneurial women who work daily to support their families.

Reina buys and sells all types of items, such as bed sheets, blankets, clothing, shoes, and other things. She says that she has lots of customers who always buy from her and that she has lots of demand that she wants to meet. One of her projects is to establish a location where she can offer her merchandise.

She is asking for this loan in order to buy sheets, blankets, shoes, and other items for resale. She appreciates the Foundation for the opportunity which will be of great help to her.
