Milkah, age 24 (shown here with her husband), is a creative and focused individual. She is a dressmaker and also earns a small additional income by keeping livestock, a venture made possible by her involvement with Faulu Kenya. She and her husband have two children, one of whom is enrolled in school.
Milkah has been making and selling dresses for the last six years. Her goal is to expand her business over the next five years and to create employment opportunities for other people.
She is requesting a loan in the amount of 50,000 Kenya shillings so as to buy a sewing machine.
