A loan of $925 helped to buy more products to stock her store.

Rosana's story

Rosana, age 42, is the single mother of two children, ages eight and two and a half. She lives with her parents and her children in her parents’ house.

Rosana sells groceries and basic needs products. She does this work at home, and her parents help her. She has been doing this for a long time.

What she likes about this work is having time for her home, having time for other types of work, and being with her children. It is going so-so for her because sales are not very good, and she hopes they will improve. For now she prefers to keep it there because she uses what she earns for the daily expenses. On the other hand, she is a teacher by profession. The income she gets is not enough for the necessities.

This is her eighth loan with MFP. She really likes working with this group because so far they have shown themselves to be very responsible people.

She will use the requested loan to buy more basic needs products and groceries to stock her store. That way she will be able to have more variety to offer her customers.
