Don De Dieu Group's story

DON DE DIEU is a group of three persons whose members lives together in the same district. The group's representative, Marie (with her hand raised in the photo), is 44 years old and married to a man named Robert. They support four children, who are all in school. Three of the children are [their own]. Marie lives together with her children and her husband in Benin. They jointly cover the various family expenses.

To support herself and to ensure her children's needs are met, Marie has been running a business for about fifteen years selling meals (polenta with fried fish and sauce). She gets her supplies from a market in Benin.

This is the third time that she has requested a loan from ALIDé. This loan will enable her and the other members of the group DON DE DIEU to bolster their business and to respond better to the requirements of their customers.
