A loan of $1,525 helped a member to buy beans and groundnuts.

Frank Yamundu Group's story

Meresi is a 32-year-old married woman with ten children who owns a house in Kasese, Uganda. She has been in the produce business, specifically selling groundnuts and beans, for two years. She started out with 200,000 UGX and now has 500,000 UGX as her working capital. Her hardship is the high prices for agricultural commodities, making her fail to purchase enough to meet her customers' demands. Her dream is to own a food store. Meresi needs this loan to purchase beans and groundnuts to sell.
