This is 41 year old Patricia (holding the folder) from Masvingo a town in south-eastern Zimbabwe. She is married with four children, all attending school. She also cares for four dependents. Patricia runs a food business selling vegetables and fruits. The business has been in operation for 1 year. She says the main challenges faced are low capital.

Patricia has requested a loan of $300 to buy more produce for resale. She says the extra income generated as a result of this loan will allow her to improve the general family welfare and educate all her children. In the future Patricia plans to operate several outlets.
