Kabetou's story

Kabétou, a woman of 33, is married to a mason and has two children; one of them goes to school. The older is 8 and the younger 4 years old.

Kabétou has been working as a retailer since 2005. She sells kitchen utensils, basins, and buckets to all comers in a local market in Lomé. She is the only person involved in her business.

In the coming years, Kabétou would like to grow her business. She says that with the profits she intends to improve the life of her family.
