Coumba O. Diatta Group's story

The solidarity group CoumB. O. Diatta was created on July 23, 2011 when the Banc Villageois was inaugurated. The group comprises 31 women all from the same village. Their main work involves small businesses. Standing with her hand raised at the far right in the photo, the group's official is 39 years old, married, and the mother of three children. She sells sugar, cigarettes, and tea. She has good experience in this domain for having worked in it for at least three years. This new loan will enable her to stock up on sugar, cigarettes, and tea to resell. With the profits generated, she plans on helping out her husband in meeting the needs of the family and especially those of the children.
