A loan of $3,075 helped a member to buy locust seeds and make "nététou".

Koute Djomboulou Group's story

This group was created at the founding assembly of the Banc Villageois on June 12, 2008. It consists of 15 members from the same village who also practice the same activity, namely producing and selling "nététou", a typical African condiment. The group's name means "man proposes, God disposes." Mrs. Fatou, at the top right of the photo, is the head of the group. She is married with four children, and two more people are in her husband’s care. She has been making and selling nététou (processed locust seed) for over 10 years. This loan will allow her to bolster her production and increase her profits, which she will use to buy a mattress and help her husband to support the family.
