Mwanakombo's story

Mwanakombo is a married woman with one girl who attends school. She owns a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.

For the past seven years, she has operated a clothes selling business, selling from home to her neighbors and passersby. She faces a major challenge of price fluctuation of products in the market. Her major dream is to establish a retail shop in the future.

With the 20,000 Kenyan Shillings (KES) she wants to start another business of selling water, purchasing taps and water pipes. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
