Songama Group's story

The Songama solidarity group was created on June 12, 2008. It consists of 15 women from the same neighborhood who mainly conduct small trade.

Mrs Rohetou, standing on the right-hand side of the photo and raising her hand, chairs the group. She is 38 years old, married and the mother of five children. She also takes care of two other children that their parents entrusted to her care. She sells bananas. After several years in this activity she has a lot of experience. She will use her loan to increase her working capital and develop her business. The profit from her activity will enable her to improve the living standard of her family (healthcare, food, clothing, etc.) and save more money.
