Jappo Liggey Group's story

Jappo Liggey Group, belonging to the Banc Villageois TouB. Séras 2, was created on December 14, 2008. It consists of 14 women who are neighbors and conduct small trade.

Seynabou, who chairs the group, is 42 years old, married and the mother of four children. Her niece, too, is in her care. She is a small retailer and has been selling aromatic "nana" flowers for six years. In addition, she breeds sheep, ducks and chickens. She will use her loan to buy merchandise, "nana" flours and fertilizer. She will use her profit to help her husband with household expenditures. Seynabou is standing on the right-hand side of the photo, wearing a reddish dress and a white scarf.
