Serigne Bara Group's story

The Serigne Bara solidarity group was created on July 22, 2011. It consists of 16 women from the same village who conduct small trade and farming.

Mrs Dié, sitting on the far right-hand side of the photo, chairs the group. She is 64 years old and the mother of four children. She is a farmer and grows millet and groundnuts. She has a lot of experience in this activity after having worked in farming since her youth. She will use her loan to buy seeds and agricultural supplies. Her goal is to rear cattle, sell vegetables and repair her house.
