A loan of $1,100 helped to buy more hats.

Esther's story

58-year-old Esther lives in her home town together with her husband and one of her children. She owns her own home.

Esther has more than five years experience selling food which she prepares in her home. She also sells items according to the season. This allows her to earn more money. Esther is always looking for business opportunities and trying to find the right place to sell her goods. Over the years, she has managed to save money which she uses to drive her business initiatives. She has plans to continue growing and innovating.

This is Esther's seventh loan from MFP. Over the years, she has demonstrated leadership within her community bank. She will invest the money that she is requesting in a business that she has gone into with a family member (selling hats). She will buy a range of these products.
