A loan of $925 helped to buy more sweets.

Nancy's story

31-year-old Nancy is an unassuming and hard-working woman who lives in her own home together with her husband, 44-year-old Esteban, and her two beloved children, 13-year-old Frank and 6-year-old Michelle, who are the main motivation behind all her hard work.

In the town of Kimbiri (a small town in Cusco region) one of the most popular places with the children is Nancy's sweet shop. Every day she opens her business very early in the morning to serve all her customers. What she most enjoys about her work is seeing the happy faces of her small customers when they try her delicious sweets such as candy apples (toffee apples), cotton candy (candy floss), cookies and other products. She has been in this business for six years and considers the most difficult part of her work to be having to stay on her feet all day waiting for customers. Over time, she would like to improve her store structurally so that she can provide her customers with a better service.

This is Nancy's eighth loan from MFP. She knows that she will receive your support so that she can achieve her goal and, for this reason, she pledges to make her loan repayments on time. She will use the 2,000 soles she has requested to buy more sweets to better stock her business.
