A loan of $1,100 helped to hire temporary workers.

Margot's story

Margot, 25, is a young mother who is very simple and hardworking. She lives in her own home with her two cherished children - Nalyz, 8, and Ruben, 5 - to whom she hopes to give a better quality of life. The hard work that Margot has done on her farm means that her crops are very well cared for and that her products sell quickly on market days in the city of San Francisco. Her main source of income is from selling cacao, coffee and plantains, because they are very high quality fruits.

What she likes most about her job is the harvest. She has been doing this for 5 years and considers the most difficult aspect to be removing the grass and weeds that grow in her fields. With the money from the loan she will hire temporary workers to make the harvest go faster. With time, she hopes to acquire new lands to increase her crops.

This is her 9th loan with MFP and she hopes for all of your support. With the 3000 nuevos soles that she has requested, she will hire workers to help her with the harvest.
