The Communal Bank “Los Andes 1” is starting its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata Community Center. The group consists of seven members and is led by a Board of Directors headed by Sra. Teodora. The members of the Communal Bank engage in different businesses in the retail, manufacturing, and service sectors in order to get ahead.

Sra. Teodora said that this is the first time she has worked with Pro Mujer. She was invited to join the organization by a promoter. Teodora currently has a business in which she knits blankets. Her friends convinced her to work several years ago.

The loan she is now receiving will be used to increase her capital for purchasing wool. She will buy the wool in the neighborhood of La Ceja and use it to make the products that she sells on request. Working in this manner allows her to generate income to support her family as much as possible. Teodora is married and has five children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, Teodora said that she enjoys the training seminars.

La A.C. “LOS ANDES 1” iniciará su primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Senkata, está compuesta por siete integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva encabezada por la señora Teodora. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: comercio, producción y servicio.

La señora Teodora indica que es la primera ves que trabaja con Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una promotora. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de tejido de mantas que viene trabajando hace años atrás por intermedio de sus amigas.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para aumentar su capital (compra de lana) que comprará de la Ceja y posterior a la elaboración de sus productos los venderá a pedido. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar en lo posible a su familia pues ella es casada y tiene cinco hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta capacitación.
