A loan of $1,100 helped to buy clothing.

Indalicia's story

Indalicia, 39, is a hard-working woman who lives in her own house with her husband, Alberto, 41, and their three dear children for whom they want to provide a good education. Indalicia sells clothing and has a stall located in the best known area of the city of Quimbiri. She attends to all her customers in a very kind and courteous manner. They visit her frequently because of all the fashionable garments she brings personally from the city of Lima.

What she enjoys most about her work is advising customers on what flatter them most. She has been in this trade for 15 years and feels the hardest part of it is having to stand up all day. She will use the loan to buy clothing in Lima, especially summer apparel since this is what is most popular in this part of the jungle. In the future she would like to open a shop in one of the shopping centers in the city of San Francisco, so she can give her customers better service. This is her 17th loan and she is happy knowing that she has continued support from the lenders. She is committed to paying back the loan on time. She plans to use the 3,000 PEN loan to buy clothing in Lima.
