A loan of $375 helped to buy several bags of fertilizer.

Milka's story

Milka, 21, is a struggling single mother. She lives with her daughter in her parents' home, located in the community of Unión Palomar (central Peruvian jungle). As a young woman and mother, she has many ambitions. Two years ago she inherited her father's agricultural land, with which she began to grow coffee. She now has several young coffee plantations, which provide good kernels. Leveraging this advantage, she is processing the grain and selling natural coffee in large quantities to the various shops in the city of La Merced, where she has regular customers.

What Milka likes most is to be independent and have a chance to grow. In spite of her limitations and responsibilities, she is undaunted, however, she has a desire to study and to have a coffee exporting company. She knows that the road is long, but she is ready to pass through successfully and give her daughter a different future. Milka belongs to the communal bank "Prestatarios de la unión palomar," and this is her second loan with MFP, where she found the support she needed. This is the reason why she promises to be punctual in her payments. Upon receiving your support, Milka will invest the requested loan to buy bags of natural fertilizers to continue improving her coffee plantations.
