The principal activities in this area are raising cattle and farming, it is known for its pineapple crop, which is sold mainly in the international markets. Because of this, the development of this community has been increasing in the last years thus increasing the demand of products and generating more opportunities for work.
Her truck is her work tool and she provides her services to the neighbors in the community which are very satisfied with the quality of her work.
Evelyn is currently requesting a micro loan of 500,000 colones for the purchase of parts to repair her truck and also to enlarge and reinforce her premises.
With these investments she expects to grow her project and be able to better serve her customers. All of this will help to improve her quality of life.
Dona Evelyn is a member of the Community Venture of Successful Women of Trinchera de Pital, one of the 110 organization members of EDESA in Costa Rica. This is her first loan and with this she expects to continue growing both personally and financially, and also actively participate in the credit organization in her community.
