Monica Maribel's story

Sra. Mónica Maribel is a member of the Communal Bank “Los Eucaliptos” (The Eucalypti) which is located in the District of Tarapoto, Province and Department of San Martín. She is 38 years old, single, and has a five-year-old daughter.

Mónica has a professional degree in nursing and computer science and was a successful and active woman. She worked in jobs related to her field for seven years in the city of Lima, but she had to quit for health reasons and returned to the city of Tarapoto. At that point, she decided to sell cosmetics. Mónica obtained her first loan from Manuela Ramos in the amount of 300 PEN. She currently offers beauty products from different brands as well as undergarments for women and men, citrus-scented colognes, perfumes, and beauty accessories. Mónica maintains a clientele of important customers, which helps her earn a good income.

With this new loan of 3000 PEN, she will buy beauty products to restock her inventory such as men’s and women’s perfumes, crèmes, press powders, talcum powders for adults and babies, lip pencils, nail polishes, clothing, and other products that her customers have ordered.

Mónica is a cheerful and enterprising woman who has plenty to gain from her business. For this reason, she dreams of opening a boutique and is working toward that goal. She is grateful to Manuela Ramos for making her dream possible.
