Yeni's story

Yeni, 33, lives with her family in their own house which only has electricity as a basic utility. It is located in the district of Cayaltí which belongs to the department of Lambayeque. This area is known for its agriculture and livestock farming activity. For several years now Yeni has been raising chickens and turkeys in a large pen behind her house. She gives them balanced feed and natural grains so they can reach full development. Then she sells them at the different markets in the area where she obtains a good profit which she uses to cover household expenses. She has requested a loan in the amount of 500 PEN through Edpyme Alternative which will be used to buy more chickens, pay back the loan and improve her lifestyle. Yeni is a hard worker and determined to get ahead and improve her economic status for her family's benefit.
