A loan of $550 helped to purchase healthy feed for her animals.

Rosa Julia's story

Rosa is 49 years old, lives with her husband and children in their own house, which only has electric service, in the Tambogrande district in the department of Piura. This region is known for its agricultural, ranching, and craft-making activity.

Rosa has raised and sold sheep for six years. Her pen, which is sufficiently large, is located behind her house. She feeds them healthy feed and natural grasses, and once they reach optimum size, she offers them for sale at the various markets in the region. In this way, Rosa earns decent profits to pay for her household’s daily expenses.

She has requested a loan of 1500 PEN ($550) from Edpyme Alternativa to purchase healthy feed. With the profits she earns she will be able to repay the loan and improve the quality of her family’s life. Rosa is a hard-working and responsible woman. The only thing she wants is for her children to do better and to improve economically so as to be able to provide them with a chance to study.
