A loan of $750 helped to buy more merchandise to stock his business.

Jaime's story

Jaime, 28, lives with his wife in his own home. He has only electricity and is located in a rural area of Tambo Grande district, in Piura department. The area is characterized by agriculture, cattle raising and craft work.

For several years Jaime has sold basic supplies (milk, rice, oil, sugar, toilet paper, tuna, etc.) and beverages. He has operated his business from his own home for convenience and security. He tries, with the profits obtained from the sale of his products, to cover all of his expenses and to raise his standard of living.

In order to expand his business he has requested a loan of 2,000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa, which he will use to buy more merchandise to stock his store. His goal is to see his business grow and to have the necessary items to offer his customers.

Jaime is a responsible, dedicated and hardworking person who is concerned about providing more amenities for his wife.
