A loan of $200 helped to buy nutritionally balanced food for his animals.

Ysaias's story

Ysaias is 29 years old and a husband and father. He lives with his wife and son in his own house, which has electricity only, in the rural district of Tambogrande, Piura. This area is known for its farming, livestock and handicrafts. Ysaias has been raising and selling sheep for several years (he has 30 sheep). His corral is located at the back of his house and is both suitable and large enough. He feeds the sheep nutrtionally balanced food and fresh fodder. Once they have reached an optimum weight, he sells them at various local markets. He makes a good profit and uses this to pay for the familiy's daily living expenses. He has requested a loan of 500 Nuevos Soles (PEN) from Edpyme Alternativa in order to buy nutritionally balanced food. The income will be sufficient to cover the loan and improve his family's standard of living. Ysaias is a hardworking and responsible man. His only wish is to better his economic situation in order to afford a higher education for his son so that he does better for himself.
