A loan of $750 helped to buy stock items for her store, foodstuffs and some shelving.

Cynthia Fiorella's story

Cynthia is a cheerful, enterprising single young woman with a lust for life. She lives in her own house with her two sisters who she helps to educate. Cynthia has two jobs. One is running a grocery store she has at home and that her two sisters take care of while she works downtown in a clothing and book store. She’s been doing this work for several years while the grocery store is something more recent that she started about a year ago.

What she likes about her work is that she can earn two incomes for her home in addition to teaching her two younger sisters that with effort one can attain things and so that they will learn to work from a young age but without neglecting their studies. What she doesn’t like is that sometime she has to work a double shift at the store and she has to stay out late; she starts work there at 7pm. She is thinking about opening her own clothing store to be independent and not leave her sisters unattended for so long.

This is Cynthia’s third MFP loan and she hopes to be able to continue working with us since she’s a responsible member. She will use the requested 2000 new soles to buy stock items for her store, foodstuffs and to install more shelving.
