A loan of $550 helped to buy more fish to be able to sell at her sales' destinations.

Beatriz's story

Beatriz, age 61, is a very hard-working woman. She lives in her own house with one of her two children. The children are adults. She is separated from her husband, and she has done everything possible to be able to get ahead with her children. They are professionals, and they help her.

Beatriz buys and sells fish. She travels to other cities to sell to the regular customers that she has in Palcazu (city near Pucallpa). She goes there often taking dried fish from the region. She has a lot of customers because she sells good quality fish, and she always provides her customers with friendly service.

What she likes most about her work is talking and joking with her customers. She has been in this business for many years. She considers having to travel so far to be able to make her sales to be the hardest part. Nonetheless, she knows that this is beneficial. Everything she does is for the good of her finances and for a better quality of life.

This is her second loan with MFP. She is pleased with her group because they are concerned about each other, and they are always responsible. She will use the requested 1,500 soles to buy more fish to sell at her sales' destinations.
