A loan of $750 helped to buy supplies for his taxi business.

Dionicio's story

Dionicio (41) is a responsible, hard-working man. He lives in a house that he owns with his wife and their two children, children for whom he works hard to provide a good education and a better quality of life. Dionicio starts his days very early, on the lookout for passengers for his taxi business. He's operated the business for almost two years now. Along with his taxi business, Dionicio has a corner shop that he opened in a spare room of his house, a business managed by his wife. The thing that he likes best about working is contact with other people. He connects well with people and he likes finding new passengers and taking them where they have to go. What he likes least about working is the sun on a hot day, but he knows it's a price that he has to pay to make a living and support his family. This is Dionicio's third loan and he's happy that his community group has overcome some recent problems. He knows that they will always support each other in the end. He will use the loan to buy some spare parts for his mototaxi. The mototaxi needs constant care because it's old and suffers from the poor state of local streets.
