A loan of $750 helped to buy balanced animal feed.

Jose Manuel's story

José, aged 65, lives with his wife and children in their own home, which has running water and electricity. It is located in the urban area of Mórrope district, which is part of Lambayeque department. This area is characterized by agriculture, livestock and handicrafts.

For the last several years, José has had an animal business (pigs and cows). He raises them in his farmyard, which is right outside his home, and he feeds them on balanced animal feed and natural pastures. Once they have achieved their ideal growth, he sells them to his customers or to the different markets in the area. With the income he earns, he is able to cover his needs and family's costs.

He has requested a loan of 2,000 New Soles from Edpyme Alternative to buy balanced animal feed. Once he has fattened the animals up he will sell them to his customers, and with the earnings he will be able to pay back the loan being offered, and improve his family's standard of living.

With much hard work and effort, José tries to move forward in life, so as to be able to continue helping his family financially and provide his children with better opportunities in life.
