Breyner

A loan of $200 helped to buy fertilizers to improve his land and nutritionally-balanced feed for his livestock.

Breyner's story

Breyner is 28. He lives with his wife and children in his own house which has no basic services. He lives in the rural district of Tambogrande in the department of Piura. This district is devoted to agriculture, livestock and crafts.

Breyner works in agriculture. He has his own farmland where he has grown lemons for the last 4 years. In addition to being used on a daily basis, the lemons once harvested can be sold at different markets in the area and beyond. With the revenue gained, he can offer his wife and children a better quality of life. He also raises and sells livestock (sheep and turkeys). Once fattened, he sells them to his customers as another source of income for his household.

He has asked Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 500 nuevos soles (PEN) to buy fertilizers to improve his lemon crop and nutritionally-balanced feed for his livestock. With the profits obtained from both these ventures, he will be able to pay off his loan and cover his family's daily needs. Breyner does his best for his children by working hard and with commitment. He does this so that they will be able to take care of themselves in the future and achieve all they set themselves to.
