A loan of $375 helped to buy ingredients and supplies for food sales.

Víctor Daniel's story

Víctor Daniel is a hard-working, happy man. He is 30 years old, single and lives with his mother. They work together selling the food his mother makes. Early in the morning they go to the market together to buy what they need to sell. Once his mother is set up in the market, he goes on to the ice factory where he works. Víctor says that the good thing about working with his mother is that he knows it is a sound investment and leaves time for him to work elsewhere.

What he enjoys about his work is the fact that he can spend time with his mother who is elderly but still wants to feel useful. What he does not like about his work is that sometimes his mother must be alone because he has to comply with the work schedule at his other employment. This is Víctor's third loan through MFP. He is in a very united group. Even though the members do not see each other often, they are constantly worrying about each other. He plans to use the 1,000 PEN loan to buy ingredients and supplies so his mother can continue her work with more capital.
