Olimjon's story

Olimjon is a good and dedicated father. He is married and the loving father of six children. Olimjon teaches at middle school number 5 in his town. Olimjon is trying to make a lot of money because he has a very big family, and does not make enough money teaching at school. So he decided to start farming to make a profit. He grows fruit and vegetables and then sells them in his shop. He also has another source of income. He breeds cattle. Olimjon would like to receive a loan of $1000 to buy fuel, lubricants, and cattle. While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
