A loan of $550 helped to buy fertilizers and to pay for labor to help with removing weeds.

William David's story

Sr. William is 29 years old and lives in his own home with his wife and children. The only service they receive is electricity. William resides in the rural section of the District of Tambogrande, which is part of the Department of Piura. This area has businesses involving farming, livestock breeding, and handicrafts.

William has been farming on his own land for four years. He grows lemons as well as other products that people consume on a daily basis. Once his crops are harvested, he sells them at different markets within and outside of the area. The income he earns helps to provide a better quality of life for his wife and children.

Noticing that his business has grown, William decided to request a loan from Edpyme Alternativa in the amount of 1500 PEN so that he can buy fertilizers to improve his farmland and his product. He will also pay for labor to have the weeds removed from his land so that he can begin harvesting lemons. With the revenue he generates, he will be able to repay the loan and cover the daily needs of his family. Through work and dedication, William will be able to provide for his children. He intends for them to have the best in life so that they can achieve all of their goals.
