Justine's story

Justine is 38 years old and lives in the town of Matugga in the Gulu region of Uganda. She is married and has four children. Three of her children are currently in school.

Justine has a small restaurant, which she has had for five years. She does farming as her second business.

To help expand her business, Justine has requested a loan of 1,500,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase food for the restaurant. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Justine hopes to generate greater profits and pay school fees for her children.

In the future, Justine hopes to expand her business.

Justine is a member of BRAC’s small enterprise program (SEP), which has helped her prospects for the future by improving her capital.
