A loan of $750 helped buy larger quantities of livestock feed.

Julio's story

Julio is 39 years old, single, and lives in his own house which has only electrical services. It is located in Tambogrande district, Piura department. The economy of the zone is characterized by agriculture, livestock raising, and artisan crafts.

Since he was 4 years old, Julio has sold corral animals (pigs, goats, sheep, and chickens). He raises them in corrals at the back of his house, on livestock feed, grains and natural grasses. Once they have reached ideal size, Julio sells them to customers, or in the different markets of the zone, and with the income he provides for his family's obligations.

Julio is requesting a loan through Edpyme Alternativa for 2,000 new sols to buy animal feed. Once his animals are fattened, he will sell them to his customers. With the earnings, Julio will pay off the loan and improve his family's quality of life. Julio, with much work and effort, has been able to advance his family, which gives him much pride and tranquility.
