A loan of $425 helped to purchase articles of clothing for resale.

Julia's story

Julia is thirty-eight years old and she has been selling clothing for the past three years. She is a very hardworking woman who very much enjoys offering laundry services to have an extra source of income for unforeseen expenses. She has two children: a girl named Estefania who is thirteen years old, and 18-year old Irvin. They both attend school. She is very happy because her business grows more each day and her children help her with the store when they are out of school.

She requested a loan to purchase more clothing because at time she has too many orders placed and she doesn't have the funds to cover the initial expense, which must be done prior to them sending her merchandise.

One of her dreams is to have a clothing store and pharmacy. At times she goes to her sister Fabiola's pharmacy and she sees that it does well, and where she lives there are no other nearby pharmacies and it would be a good business.

She is thankful to Fundacion (Kiva Field Partner) for the support they have given her, helping her to move forward and to attain her dreams for the future. It is thanks to their support that this is becoming a reality.
