Solidaridad De Jicamarca Group's story

Angélica, 34, belongs to the “Solidaridad de Jicamarca” group which has 8 members. This group is a year and a half old. She’s married and has three minor children which are her and her husband’s impulse to get ahead. She has been driving a mototaxi for four years. Initially she leased the mototaxi but in time was able to buy her own and she goes out to work daily. Thanks to her and her husband’s efforts they have managed to provide their children with an education and to build their house. She has a second job manufacturing polo shirts. Her plans for the future are to set up a polo shirt making shop that’s well known. She wants to use the present loan to regularize the documents to start making polo shirts and to buy fabric.
