Samuel's story

Samuel is 35 years old and married with 4 children, ages 6 to 18. He runs a General Merchandise store in Waterloo near Freetown.

Samuel has been in this business for 10 years and sells drinks, milk and toothpaste at his shop. His business is the main source of income he has. He says that the main challenge to his business is price fluctuations.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more drinks, milk and provision items. Samuel says that the extra income from this loan will help him improve his standard of living. In the future, he would like to be a supplier to partners.
