A loan of $1,600 helped a member to purchase fabrics and materials.

Gulsaara's Group's story

Gulsaara is the leader of this group. She is 39 and, unfortunately, she is a widow. She brings up two daughters, both of whom study at school. In order to earn money to meet the family needs, Gulsaara breeds cattle. She also sews Kyrgyz national cloth, blankets and pillows. In this way, she earns 10,000 soms per month. Gulsaara applied for the loan because she needs additional financial funds for purchasing fabrics and materials, which are needed for sewing. In the future, she wishes to build a new house for her daughters. Where Did This Loan Come From?
