A loan of $375 helped to buy more natural medicine.

Ana's story

Ana, 29, lives in her own house with her husband, Ángel, and their two small children in the Cumutay rural area. This hard-working woman has accomplished many goals. Her main business is farming and she grows potatoes, peas and Gladiolus flowers, which she cares for over several weeks' time with her husband. She enjoys her work which allows her to make a regular income so she can give her family a better lifestyle. She also has two dairy cows and makes cheese which she sells to distributors. Although farming is something she truly enjoys, she recently began selling natural medicine to treat illnesses. She has many customers in her area and neighboring communities. Being very enterprising, in the future she would like to specialize in this area and help people with no income to receive treatment in specialized clinics. She belongs to the communal bank "Lindo amanecer de Cumutay" and this is her third loan through MFP. She is grateful to everyone who has made this loan possible and very happy to be a member of the communal bank. Ana plans to use the loan to buy natural medicine to offer to her customers.
