A loan of $2,700 helped a member to invest in silver.

Grupo Hatarinas Group's story

Epifanía is a 49-year-old woman who belongs to the Grupo Hatarinas Communal Bank, which has seven male and female members. They are enterprising people who all currently have their own businesses, a common goal of supporting their families, and dreams to reach for and attain.

Epifanía and her live-in partner have a business selling silver and, in her free time, she finishes jewelry, which is her greatest skill. She has three children, two of whom are still minors. It is for them that she has to struggle to be able to give them the best, and thanks to the help of this institution, she has been able to give them an education and to build their home. With this latest loan she plans to invest in silver for new work projects.

David was not present for the group disbursement , which is why he appears in the photograph on the left hand side wearing a white shirt.

In this group: Epifania, Martha Nelida, Rosario Manuela, Kristian Paola, Clarisas, David, Victoriano
