A loan of $1,000 helped to buy seeds for his maize farming business.

Feliciano's story

Sr. Feliciano and Sra. Eulalia have two school-aged children. They live in Quebrada Portuguesa, a rural community some 4 kilometers from La Guardia. They make their living from farming, growing and selling crops such as maize, yucca, peanuts, beans and vegetables. They got the farm 3 years ago and have been farming ever since. They will use this loan to prepare land for their next maize crop. Sr. Feliciano and Sra. Eulalia work the land together and sell their crops at local markets when the crops are ready for sale. Sr. Feliciano is a hard-working man and he's grateful for the support he's received from the bank. He and his wife are pictured together in the attached photo.
