A loan of $950 helped to purchase merchandise to invest in and diversify her candy store business.

Alicia's story

Señora Alicia is a single mother with four children who are now grown-up and have their own families. She only has one child for whom she is responsible and that child is currently studying.

For the last two years, Señora Alicia has been running a business selling candy for the holidays. This type of business is unique in her neighborhood, so she makes many sales.

She is requesting a loan to invest in the purchase of merchandise that includes a greater variety of products such as items for birthday parties.

She also wants to invest in buying school supplies, such as notebooks, pencils, crayons, pens and glue. The business will thus have a greater variety of merchandise and more income, as her customers are asking her to sell these products.

Señora Alicia is a distinguished client of FVP; she has already punctually repaid five loans.
