A loan of $750 helped to maintain/replace the tires and canopy of his mototaxi.

Mauro Jesus's story

Mauro, 51, lives with his wife and children in his own home, which has the basic utilities of water and electricity. He lives in an urban area of the José Leonardo Ortiz district, which is in Chiclayo province. The residents of this area tend to work raising poultry and in retail trade.

Mauro has had his own mototaxi (a light vehicle used to move a maximum of 3 people short distances) for several years. He works in the same neighborhood where he lives. In spite of all of the competitors in this same line of work, he tries as hard as possible to transport a good quantity of passengers to their various destinations starting in the early morning. In this way, he can have a higher income to pay for the household expenses and necessities.

Mauro has requested a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for 2,000 Peruvian soles, which he will use to maintain and replace his tires and the canopy of his mototaxi. He needs these items to continue to provide good service to his customers and improve the quality of life of his family. Mauro is a person who, with hard work and effort, wants his children to have a better standard of living in the future.
