Kankoe Georges's story

Georges is 36 and married to a small-scale retailer. He is the father of one child. He has been working as a tailor since 2003. He buys textiles and lengths of African print cloth at the markets in Lomé to use to make ready-to-wear clothing. His workshop is located in Afanoukopé, the street opposite the station. He has one employee to help him.

He has requested his first-ever loan from WAGES in order to buy textiles and African print cloth to make into clothing.
