A loan helped to buy merchandise for her store and cover personal expenses.

Paula's story

Paula, 46, lives with her husband in her own house which only has electricity. It is located in the district of Mórrope which belongs to the department of Lambayeque. This area is known for its agriculture, livestock farming and artisan craft activity.

For approximately three years Paula has been selling basic need items such as milk, rice, oil, sugar, toilet tissue, tuna, eggs, etc., as well as fuel. She runs her business out of her house for comfort and safety reasons. Her earnings are used to cover household expenses and improve lifestyle.

In order to expand her business she is requesting a loan in the amount of 1,500 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa to buy merchandise and pay for personal expenses. Her only goal is to increase business and offer more products to her customers, and pay back the loan and meet household obligations. Paula is a responsible, dedicated, hard-working person who does all she can to make her husband more comfortable.
