Sulkhan's story

Sulkhan is from the village of Tsikhesulori, Vani district. He is 28 years old and lives with his parents.

With the requested credit, Sulkhan plans to purchase a new mini-bus. He will provide transportation services to Vani and Samtredia district villagers. He will connect these two towns. He has been working as a driver in the same region for 10 years, but he had an old mini-bus, which wasn’t comfortable. With the new mini-bus, he will become more competitive and attract new customers. He earns on average 550 Laris per month.

Sulkhan’s family is involved in agriculture. They have two milk cows and sell approximately 30 kg of cheese per month at the local market. In addition, they grow maize on their one-hectare plot of land. Part of the harvested corn is used to feed the cows and 400 kg of maize is sold locally.

Sulkhan hopes that with the new mini-bus, his income will increase. He will invest it in the development of the family's agriculture.
