Gvantsa's story

Gvantsa is from the village of Sasireti, East Georgia. She lives with her father Noe, 63 years old. Gvantsa and her father work hard on the family farm. They have four hectares of land and grow cabbage and tomatoes. 1.5 hectare of this land is used for a fruit garden with 70 plum trees, 40 nut trees and 60 apple trees. They sell harvested fruit and vegetables to local retailers. The total average monthly income of the family is 1,000 Laris.

Gvantsa requested a loan to purchase fertilizers and drugs to treat the plants for parasites. In addition, part of the requested loan will be used to pay the workers, which will help the family in seasonal work.

After fertilization and treatment of the plants, Gvantsa and his father will get a high quality harvest and sell it for a good price. It will increase the income of the family. Gvantsa plans to renovate the house with the received income in order to improve their living conditions.
