Mekhrali is a 62-year-old farmer from the village of Khidiskuri, East Georgia. He is married and lives with his wife Natela, two adult sons and a daughter-in-law. He grows potatoes on a family-owned 0.25 hectare of land and earns approximately 2,000 Laris per year. His sons are musicians. They play and sing in a local restaurant and earn 400 Laris per month. Natela has some health problems and she needs surgery. Mekhrali requested a loan to cover the medical expenses related to the surgery. Mekhrali hopes that the surgery will solve the problems of Natela and she will be in good health soon.
