Martiros's story

Martiros is from the village of Gorelovka, Ninotsminda District. He is 33 years old and lives in the village with his wife Anaida and three children: two daughters (8 and 5 years old) and a 2-year-old son. Martiros works as a herdsman on the village farm. Anaida works as a milkmaid on the same farm. Along with their job, the family also runs a small dairy farm. They have two milk cows and sell milk to the village farm. The total average monthly income of the family is 800 Laris.

Martiros requests a loan to expand the family's agro-business. In particular, he will buy six piglets and food for them. After the piglets are grown, in four or five months, they will be sold at a higher price. The additional profits earned by the family will help them to improve their living conditions.
